Chrome 2.0.166.1 – 873.4ms +/- 2.9% (i had more apps running but oh well)

Today bio lesson was very humourous and also quite disgusting
Go for the humour part first:
1) We put mrs goh’s pic of her when she was young on the projector. The look she had when she came in was epic
2) Halfway through the lesson she went wrote a difficult word, something about diabetes. Ernest asked her how to spell the word so she wrote it nicely in the primary sch style (letters do not touch). She then went on to mention how her handwriting was the nicest in primary sch and was something like jonathan’s (his handwriting is a font). My handwriting surely cannot make it (unlike chai and edwin).
3) She also went to talk about her childhood and how she went to catch ants and other small insects. (which we all respond is natural bio)
Disgusting due to the videos she showed us about various medical processes like liposuction and some random fat removal thing (ie just pulling fat out of ppl). Although the skin graft is the worst. The perforations that are cut (which are supposed to increase the area covered) make it look really sick. However, 5 day vs 8 day got massive diff.
If there was lunch after bio period i think no one can go eat. Ok we ate the toblerone mrs goh gave out since it doesn’t look like flesh at all.
Yay i have finally started moving through the backlog of math homework. I will have to do the same for the backlog of prog homework.
Yay for the single day of slacking after the tests have been concluded. What has to be done before the end of this wk
- math stationary pt hmwrk, maxima/minima homework
- biology homeostasis worksheet
- physics SPA3 (by thurs)
Not that bad, except math will take alot of time
wow am i bored. i managed to swiftly finish studying for chem due to the lack of content. Such a different concept to bio where there is so much more content to be learnt before a single test. I guess chem is all about how well you know your concept (either score high/low).
The class seems to be only marginally quieter although 8 ppl have left. This is quite interesting. The new internet connection comes tomorrow so i will have a more stable line and not feel so guilty.
Time to revise for lit. Maybe i will do a post for ironman and ec3 camp but that can come later after the round of tests ends.
I wonder if this would work out as a sample paragraph.
One of the concepts proposed by Baudrillard is that from the moment the subject is perfectly realized, it automatically becomes the object. As can be seen from the scene wherein Neo meets the boy who tells him that the spoon is not what bends, only himself. Neo is portrayed as the subject and the spoon as the object. As Neo has not reached such perfect realisation, he is unable to bend the spoon initially. Upon gaining insight from the boy’s statement, Neo gains this realisation and is able to bend the spoon. Since upon perfect realisation the subject becomes the object, hence Neo becomes the spoon and is able to bend.
Ok i realised that it covers nothing about the mise-en-scene but i don’t care at all. Why should i care when the guy who came up with this concept said that truth does not exist? By writing this, i assume that what he is saying is true.
Away from the heavy lit/philo, time to say goodbye to the 8 ppl going to beijing. Now the class will become really small and the bio class even smaller (from 22/21 to 16/15). At least now during every lesson mrs goh will have to say 15/16 at least once
.
It will be a quieter class as well.
